Mateo's First Haircut

BEFORE:

AFTER:

It's a very good thing I don't cut hair for a living. Poor Mateo. (In my defense, he moved right as I was cutting his left forelock off, which is why it looks like I cut his hair by putting a bowl on his head. Which I did not do.)

Little chameleon boy

Mateo's University Friends... Take 3

Silke's new favourite song also happens to be one of Mateo's

Mm *stick tongue out* went the little green frog one day
Mm *stick tongue out* went the little green frog
Mm *stick tongue out* went the little green frog one day
And they all went mm *stick tongue out* ah

But we all know frogs go *stick tongue out* la di da di da
*stick tongue out* la di da di da
*stick tongue out* la di da di da
We all know frogs go *stick tongue out* la di da di da
They don't go mm *stick tongue out* ah

Unser Schatzi/ notre petit bonhomme

Mateo's University friends... Take 2

Anna, who is Toben's favourite person in the world, & Meli

Cuteness with a bow

Mateo got a lovely, thoughtful gift of a music book from some of this year's German exchange students, Silke, Juliane & Linda. We're singing some of the songs already, but he did seem to enjoy the bow on it in a big way.

Helping in the kitchen...

Rollin' rollin' rollin'

Mateo's newest skill as of yesterday is being able to roll from his back to his front. As when he touches his toes, it is done with great grunting & trepidation... but he can manage. The first time he really surprised himself & started crying immediately. But now he is able to consistently roll over, but only from back to front. He hasn't yet managed to roll back the other way, which he finds incredibly frustrating.
